Meals on Wheels of Syracuse loves being a part of a community, and loves community involvement in our mission. We thank Jarred and his dad Kevin, April and her dad Tim, and Timothy and his mom Margie from Karate John's Martial Arts Center and McKenna from Alpha Phi Omega - Syracuse University for volunteering in our kitchen this week. Without great volunteers in our kitchen and on the roads as drivers - Meals on Wheels of Syracuse could not do what we do! Black Belt Candidate Jarred
Jarred and Kevin

Meals on Wheels of Syracuse thanks Jarred and his father Kevin from Karate John's Martial Arts Center. Jarred is the latest Black Belt candidate to volunteer at Meals on Wheels of Syracuse. He is a 2nd Generation Martial Artist, following in the footsteps of his mother who studied Taekwondo, who isn't afraid to show what hard work and determination looks like; a family trait he picked up (Jarred's family is the family behind ButterCup Cheese of Central Square NY). Jarred is a great example of the leadership skills taught at Karate John's Martial Arts Center. Get involved with Meals on Wheels of Syracuse by visiting www.meals.org. #LETSDOLUNCH
