Planned Giving

Take care of your personal income needs while supporting Meals on Wheels.  Here are some of the tools you can use to gift funds.

  • Giving through a Will - Consider leaving assets (real estate, securities, etc.) by way of your last will and testament to Meals on Wheels.  This lasting legacy that will help our homebound neighbors can relieve family members of the stress, burden and expense at the time of distribution of your estate. 
  • Retirement Plan Assets and Insurance Proceeds - You can name Meals on Wheels as a beneficiary on your retirement fund or insurance policy and gain substantial income or estate tax savings.
  • Receiving Income While Planning a Gift - Investors can create a Charitable Remainder Trust to produce income while alive and then gift the remaining investment to Meals on Wheels.
