SILVER PLATTER CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCED

Meals on Wheels of Syracuse Announces Silver Platter Campaign
Community Invited to Adopt-A-Day of Meals

Syracuse, NY – July 22, 2014Meals on Wheels of Syracuse announces its Silver Platter Campaign.  The program is seeking businesses, organizations, and individuals to “adopt-a-day of meals” to help subsidize a funding gap.

Mason Kaufman, the Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Syracuse said, “We need to raise nearly $100,000, so we’re asking the community to adopt a day of meals.  Companies, groups, organizations, and families can really have some fun with this by adopting a day of their own.  They may also help prepare and deliver the meals to experience the impact of their financial support of our Meals on Wheels program.”

Supporters of the Meals on Wheels program are encouraged to adopt-a-day of their choice which may be significant to their business or organization.  Birthdays and anniversaries or any special occasion may be celebrated and highlighted during the campaign.   Service organizations and church groups who support a mission-of-the month are encouraged to adopt-a-day or more of meals.
