Meals on Wheels New York State names CNY executives to statewide board

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Meals on Wheels New York State (MOWNYS) recently appointed a pair of Central New York executives to its statewide board of directors.
Mason Kaufman, executive director of Meals on Wheels of Syracuse, was named to the MOWNYS board of directors and as a member of the governance/nominating committee. Kaufman has been with Meals on Wheels of Syracuse since 1984 and began his tenure as executive director in 1995, the organization said.
Amy Roland, director of nutrition services at Oswego County Opportunities (OCO), was named to the MOWNYS board and as a member of the governance/nominating committee. Roland has been with OCO since 1987 and has served in her current role since 2006.
Both board members’ terms began Jan. 1.
Meals on Wheels New York State is a nonprofit organization that says it’s the oldest member state association in Meals on Wheels America.
