MEALS ON WHEELS OF SYRACUSE NOW SERVING SKANEATELES
Syracuse, NY, January 4, 2016 -- Meals on Wheels of Syracuse is now serving Skaneateles, New York. The first meal deliveries to homebound seniors will begin today at 11:30 AM at the Skaneateles United Methodist Church, 26 Jordan Street in Skaneateles. Mason Kaufman, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Syracuse will be available to speak with the media.
Meals on Wheels of Syracuse will transport meals from its Syracuse kitchen to the Skaneateles United Methodist Church for local volunteers to pick up and deliver to homebound seniors. Meals on Wheels of Syracuse continues to recruit volunteers in the Skaneateles area who are available weekdays at 11:30 AM to deliver meals. The program offers flexible online scheduling, door-to-door directions, and text reminders to its volunteers.
The next Skaneateles Volunteer Orientation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Skaneateles United Methodist Church, 26 Jordan Street in Skaneateles. Anyone interested in volunteering may apply online now at www.meals.org or by calling 315.478.5948. Volunteers are also needed in Jordan-Elbridge, Nedrow, and the city of Syracuse.
